Common questions
How do I get a price for new tyres?
Text or call us your tyre size (on the side of the tyre, e.g. 205/55R16) and your car. We’ll tell you what’s available and the price.
Should I replace two tyres or all four?
It depends on how worn the others are and your vehicle – some all-wheel-drive cars need matching tyres all round. We’ll check and advise.
Do I need a wheel alignment with new tyres?
If your old tyres wore unevenly, an alignment helps your new ones last longer. We can check it while your car is here.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we accept Afterpay, Zip and humm as well as cash and card.
We do all size tyres
Whatever you drive, we can supply and fit the right size – from small cars to trucks.
Passenger
Cars, hatches, sedans, wagons and SUVs – everyday tyres that are quiet, comfortable and long-wearing.
4x4
Tyres for 4WDs, including all-terrain and mud-terrain options for driving off the bitumen.
Light truck
Load-rated tyres for utes, vans and light trucks that carry tools, gear or tow trailers.
Truck
Truck tyres for commercial vehicles – call or text us your size.
How to read your tyre size
Your size is printed on the side of the tyre, e.g. 205/55R16 91V. Text us that and we can quote straight away.
205
Tyre width in millimetres.
55
Profile – the sidewall height as a percentage of the width.
R16
Radial construction, made for a 16-inch wheel.
91V
Load index (how much weight each tyre can carry) and speed rating.
When should you replace your tyres?
Tread is getting low
The legal minimum in Australia is 1.5 mm of tread. The tread-wear bars in the grooves show when you’re close.
Cracks, bulges or cuts
Damage to the sidewall can’t usually be repaired and means the tyre should be replaced.
Uneven wear
Wear on one edge often points to an alignment problem – fix it so your new tyres last.
Old tyres
Rubber hardens and cracks with age even when there’s tread left. Ask us to check the date code.
